About Kinney County Court Docket

Kinney County court dockets and case files are divided among the 63rd District Court, constitutional County Court, countywide Justice of the Peace, and Brackettville Municipal Court. Rick Alvarado serves as both County Clerk and District Clerk, while lower courts maintain their own records. This private reference site organizes the official portals, courthouse contacts, and request paths that help a reader identify the proper custodian in Brackettville or the statewide Texas system.

Why We Built This Site

Texas permits access to many court records, but the correct route depends on the record. Kinney County's Public Notices calendar is not a complete case database, re:SearchTX may not contain every local or historical filing, and eFileTexas is a filing system rather than a public search tool. We organize those distinctions, along with the County Clerk, District Clerk, JP, and municipal contacts, so readers can seek their own case, confirm a setting, or research a public matter through the office that actually holds it.

What You Will Find Here

  • Docket guides: how criminal dockets and civil dockets are searched and read in Kinney County
  • Court dates and settings: how to read the court calendar and confirm a hearing date or setting
  • Case lookups: how to run a case search by party name or case number through the statewide portal
  • Record requests: how court records and certified copies are requested from the clerk of court

What We Cannot Do

This is a privately run reference site with no connection to a Texas court, Kinney County office, clerk, or government agency. Those boundaries mean:

  • We cannot pull an official docket sheet or case file for anyone
  • We cannot change, reschedule, or reset a court date or hearing setting
  • We cannot remove, seal, or amend a case on any docket
  • We cannot issue certified copies of any docket, order, or court document
  • We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
  • We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or setting listed on this site is current right now

Only the clerk of court or the trial court that heard the case can issue an official or certified copy of a docket sheet or court record. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.

Search Partners

Some pages contain search boxes operated by outside providers. The provider controls its results, service terms, and prices. A paid signup reached through one of those tools may produce a referral fee that supports this resource. We do not control the provider's coverage and cannot treat its output as an official Kinney County court record. Confirm all case information with the originating clerk or court.
